The Gardens & Paddock
The Garden is split in to 3 main areas... a generous open lawn, fruit garden with apple trees and fruit bushes and 1/3 of an acre of paddock. On the oposite side of the house to the lawn there is a smaller area which has a mix of mature oak and camellia bushes which is a lovely sheltered spot for an evening barbecue.
The garden has a lovely 'natural' feel about it with it not being overly manicured. That said there is plenty of scope for keen gardeners to get their wellies dirty!
Being in a wonderful position between farmland, heath and forest one of the greatest joys is the massive range of wildlife you get wandering in! |

The Kitchen
The Kitchen is in a practical 'farmhouse' style with a large electric double oven range style cooker.
The main kitchen are is reasonably large with plenty of counter and cupboard space. It has a good size walk-in larder and adjoins a bright breakfast room (see below.)
There is also an adjoining hallway leading to the utility room containing the washing machine and dishwasher and then to the back door.
The floor is hard wearing original quarry tiles which look great and are easy to maintain. |

The Breakfast Room
Leading from the Kitchen is a lovely breakfast room. A great place to start the day watching the night's wildlife retreat back to the forest as you have your cup of tea and toast!
Having windows on two sides, facing south and south-east it catches the morning light beautifully.
The Breakfast Room has a lovely antique pine farmhouse kitchen table which easily seats 6 people - easily big enough to be used as the main dining room.
The floor is extremely hard wearing with an attractive rustic look. |

The Living Room
The living room has a real cosy feel about it. This is in no small part due to the large wood burner which easily heats the whole room (though there is the back up of a large thermostatic radiator if you prefer not to light the fire.)
The rustic lintel over the fire place was was sourced in the surrounding woods ...where there is no shortage of kindling! |

The Bedrooms
There are four bedrooms in total - one large master double bedroom with en suite bath,WC and shower, two other large doubles and one large single (which could be a twin.) The latter three all share the main bathroom and adjacent WC.
All bedrooms over look the south facing gardens and beyond to surrounding farmland and paddocks. |

The Main Bathroom
The main bathroom serves three of the bedrooms and is equipped with a shower, bath, basin and is adjacent to one of the 4 WC's. (There is a second ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom.)
The bathroom has been fully retiled and painted recently. |
